About MILS INTERNATIONAL

MILS INTERNATIONALS was established in July 2002 and was one of the first companies in Japan to use mass spectrometry technology to aid in the detection and diagnosis of rare diseases and Inborn Error Metabolism(IEM), with a focus on clinical testing business in Japan and overseas. Our IEM pathological analysis and testing technology is superior to other organic acidemia analysis technologies and can search for a wider range of diseases than organic acid analysis technologies, thus helping to diagnose more than 160 different diseases including organic acidemia. In order to make this technology available to as many people as possible, we intend to disseminate it from Japan to the world and provide it to people all over the world through our global network.
Currently, we provide our services in Asia countries, such as China, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam, and we sincerely hope that new partners from all over the world will join us to further expand our global network.
We look forward to serving those suffering from incurable diseases, those suffering from hereditary diseases, and those interested in pre-morbid medicine and health.
Our service will be useful to those caring for their health.

Research Activites

Besides the IEM test, MILS INTERNATIONALS is also conducting the following activities :

• Laboratory animal fluid testing and evaluation for new drug development for rare diseases
• Determination of metabolic kinetics at the iPS cell level for gene therapy research
• Confirmation of pathogenicity of mutations of unknown clinical significance of genes
• Evaluation of residual enzyme activity in special diseases
• Therapeutic efficacy monitoring of new therapeutic agents for diabetes mellitus
• Drug metabolism analysis for new drug development
• Determination of the effect of health food (determination of recovery status of physical condition)
• Research on the effects of industry on the human body
• Research on early diagnosis of dementia and cancer
